Yes but not everyone is a lowlife and some of us actually want fun and challenging gameplay not cheapshots.
We recently located and recovered a tower lost in the rabbithole, that being said I'm all for towers falling on hard time being up for grabs.

Wormhole outfits tend to be rather small. It does take quite some time in empire as is. But with the added logistic problem to get a decent number of BS and ammo in W-space, it's really not feasible as long as there are other moons. It will become a real PITA when free moons start to get rare (which is inevitable).
Ask for a finders fee of the corporation that owns it and get them in there to get it back or declare war on them if they don't remove it once given the opportunity and the bookmarks to it.
You know, communicate, no it's not in your weapons grouping, nor the midslots...

If they don't want to take their tower back after being given the means to I'd say they're ungrateful and full of spite since they must know there is a reason for you wanting it gone.
Declaring war at that stage is not so much to have them change their minds but to punish them for not taking your offer.
If you're only in EVE to do what you want to do then you're in for a surprise.

An interesting point. But by that reasoning, shouldn't pirate rats be attacking POS in 0.0? Wouldn't it be interesting if one of the player alliances suddenly got swarmed.
They should at the very least defend their sovereign systems. Right now Serpentis Prime is being defiled by renters.
